Use
This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in component SLL-LEG-CUS for Customs Management in SAP GRC Global Trade Services.
When you re-import compensating products after outward processing, this BAdI lets you take the complex bills of material that you manage in an external system into account. To claim the trade preference during the re-import of compensating products after outward processing, you have to document which components you temporarily exported for outward processing. This comparison can help you qualify for the trade preference in calculating the amount due to customs. In the default settings, the system accesses the simple bill of product - which you can enter for compensating products in the Special Customs Procedures tab page in the customs product - and which are defined in the authorization for outward processing.
In addition, if your bills of product change frequently, you can determine the active BOP at the time of the re-import after outward processing. If you call an external bill of material, you bypass the update of the required authorization in SAP GRC Global Trade Services where you save the BOP information.
If you produce compensating products with complex bills of material in outward processing and you have already entered these bills of material in a system, you can use them for the stock posting during the re-import from outward processing.
Requirements
To activate the BAdI, you have to set the External BOP flag for the involved customs ID, on the Special Customs Procedures tab page in the customs product. When you set this flag, the system always calls the BAdI, ignoring the bill of product from the authorization.
Note that you still have to record the components in the authorization, so the system can post the stock correctly to outward processing during the temporary export.
Standard settings
- In the standard system, there is no activated BAdI implementation.
- The BAdI is intended for multiple use. All activated implementations are called and executed.
- The BAdI is filter independent.
