Use

In this Customizing activity, you define the types of business scope accounts for processing trade.

Business scope accounts are a legal requirement in China for recording all permitted goods using the processing trade customs procedure and for submitting customs declarations.

Firms in China notify Chinese customs authorities about which components they can import and which finished products they can export. The information about the finished products and components is recorded in a business scope account using four-digit HS codes.

The four-digit HS codes are based on master data in SAP GTS. These business scope account data records are transmitted in part as electronic messages to Chinese customs. Furthermore, electronic manuals are built on top of business scope accounts.
