Use
In this Customizing activity, you define dashboard scopes, such as All, Active, Inactive, and so on, that are used to differentiate between multiple views on the dashboard of an object type, such as Item.
Requirements
Standard settings
SAP delivers dashboard scopes in the name range 1-59.
Activities
If you want to define your own dashboard views, you can create your own scopes in the customer name range 60 - 99.
Note, however, that in addition to the dashboard settings, you need to carry out the following steps for the customer-defined dashboard scopes:
- Navigation settings in Customizing for Portfolio Management under Global Customizing -> Process and Service Settings:
Add a corresponding Web Dynpro application to the SCOPE instance of the respective launchpad role, using the advanced application parameters OBJECT_TYPE_R=<dashboard type>&SCENARIO=WS&SCOPE=<your scope>.
Define the navigation settings for this application.
- User-interface settings for embedded dashboards in transaction SE80
Using your own views in embedded dashboards is only supported in the Items and Initiatives views of buckets. Make the following settings:
- Define your own component configuration for the Web Dynpro component INM_UIBB_FRAME. As component-defined attributes, specify the interface view WI_RPM_DASHBOARD, as well as the dashboard settings Object Type RIH (Item) or IPO (Initiative) and your dashboard scope.
- In the component configuration RPM_WDA_BUCKET_DETAIL_PO_OIF_CFG, variant RBH_EDIT of Web Dynpro component FPM_OIF_COMPONENT, add a new subview under main view Items or Initiatives. Use the following attributes:
Component: INM_UIBB_FRAME
View: WI_UIBB_FRAME
Configuration Name: <the configuration you defined in the previous step>
- Settings for the selection of dashboard objects in Customizing for Portfolio Management under Business Add-Ins and Customer Includes:
Define the selection logic for the objects displayed in your dashboard view by implementing the corresponding BAdI method, for example, method ALTER_ITEM_LIST of BAdI: Item/Decision Point API, or method ALTER_INITIATIVE_LIST of BAdI: Initiative.
