Activities
Main Attributes screen
- Click on New Entries and enter a user-defined attribute ID in the first field.
- Enter a text for the attribute and select HR-Org. Integration or Internal Structure as the attribute type.
- Checkmark the appropriate fields. The values in the checkboxes mean the following:
- Active: If you set this checkmark, the attribute will be displayed in the RM application.
- Multi-value: If you set this checkmark, multiple atttibute values can be defined for this incident/loss.
- Hierarchical: if you set this checkmark, the values will be displayed in hierarchical fashion.
- Mandatory: if you set this checkmark, you can not define an incident or a loss without a value, depending on the attribute relevance.
- In the field Attribute Relevance, specify the attribute as relevant for incidents, losses or both.
- Save the entry.
Maintaining Attributes for "HR Link"
- For any entry, click on HR Link.
- Click on New Entries.
- As the attribute, select your entry.
- Enter the object type, the object ID, and the evaluation path to be used for queries and reports.
- Save the entry.
NOTE: You can only maintain the HR link if the entry you selected previously is assigned the attribute type HR-org integration. You can only enter numbers in this field; if unsure, contact your system administrator.
Maintaining Attributes for "Values"
For this attribute type, you can specify a list of values and then form a hierarchy using them by following these steps:
- Select an entry and in the dialog structure column, double-click on attribute Values.
- Click on New Entries and enter a value in the Value (ID) column.
- Select a Parent ID and enter a text for this entry. Note that the Parent ID will be selected from the list of attributes. This step is only required for hierarchical attributes.
- Save the entry.
