Use

SAP Business Workflow forms the basis for workflow processing, which is a logical sequence of steps carried out by people or the system, in order to carry out a business process. It includes the tasks to be performed, steps in each procedure, people involved, required input and output information, and the functions required for each step.

Note

For Risk Management, the settings under the top node of this activity, called Maintain Runtime Environment, are mandatory, whereas the other nodes are optional.

Requirements

You must have authorization for the authorization profile SAP_ALL.

Standard settings

Activities

The system automatically makes all the necessary settings when you position the cursor on a node and choose F9.

After automatic configuration, make the following change:

  1. Under Maintain Runtime Environment, select the node Schedule Background Job for Missed Deadlines, and choose Execute.
  2. Set the Interval until next deadline check at the time needed, for example, 20 minutes.
  3. Choose Save and Schedule.
