Use

In this Customizing activity you specify number range intervals for incidents. When an incident is created or saved, the system automatically issues a number for that incident. Use the number range intervals to specify from which number range each number originates.

All incident types in RM use the number range that you specify under number range 01. Therefore, you must specify an interval for number range 01.

Note: You must enter a leading zero when creating new intervals.

Activities

  1. Click on the Insert (+) Interval button to insert a new interval.
  2. Enter a new interval with the numbering "01" (using the leading zero).
  3. Enter the number range for the interval.
  4. Save your entry.
