Use

In this Customizing activity, you must specify on which level of your organizational unit the individual incident and loss attributes are to be applied.

By assigning an incident or loss attribute to an organizational unit, you make this attribute available for use in all incidents or losses assigned to this organization unit or to any of its dependent (child) organizational units.

Requirements

• The Customizing activity Maintain Incident and Loss Attributes must be carried out.
• The organizational unit must be defined in the user inteface of the Risk Management application.

Standard settings

Activities

You can assign attributes to an organizational unit as follows:

1. Click on an organizational unit in the left pane or use the search function to find your organizational unit.
2. On the right side, detail information is displayed for this organizational unit. By clicking on an item, you can see the existing assignments of this organizational unit to the corresponding incident and loss attributes at the bottom of the screen.
3. In the bottom section, you can carry out the following functions:
1. Change an existing assignment by selecting a different attribute from the dropdown list or changing its validity period.
2. Create a new assignment for this attribute or define a new validity period for an existing assignment.
3. Delete the assignment of this attribute, so that it is no longer valid for your organizational unit.
