Use

In this Customizing activity, you can define which time zone is to be considered by the system when transferring demand data back and forth between the SAP Multiresource Scheduling system and the source system of the demand.

You have the following options:

  • S - system time zone

The system time zone corresponds to the user time zone as defined in transactionSU01.

  • C - customer time zone

This is the time zone that is specified in the corresponding order (notification, role) for the partner.

  • T - technical object time zone

This is the time zone that is specified in the corresponding order for the main technical object.

Note:
The time zone you define here is only relevant if the following applies:

  • There is no global time zone defined in Customizing activity Configure Basic Settings.

By default, the system considers the global time zone for the backward and forward integration of demands.

  • You have not implemented Business Add-In (BAdI) /MRSS/RSG_TIMEZONE.

If there is no global time zone defined, the system checks if this BAdI has been implemented. The BAdI implementation takes precedence over the settings you make in this Customizing activity.

Activities

Make entries as follows:

  1. Enter a demand type.
  2. Enter a time zone.

The time zone concept is valid for demands originating in PM/CS, PS, cPro, and RM. Depending on the demand type, you can specify the following time zones:

    • PM/CS orders: system time zone, customer time zone, technical object time zone
    • PM/CS notifications: system time zone, customer time zone
    • PS networks: system time zone
    • cPro roles: system time zone, customer time zone
    • RM requests: system time zone
  3. Set a priority for each time zone.

During the transfer of demand data, the system takes into account the time zone with the highest priority. If the time zone with the highest priority has not been set up in the source system of the demand or is not valid for the demand type, the system considers the time zone with the next highest priority.

For more information, see the field help (F1 help) for the individual fields.
