Use
In this Customizing activity, you can specify whether or not it shall be possible to create notes for various SAP Multiresource Scheduling objects in the planning board.
For each object type, you have the following options:
Deactivate the creation of notes
Allow the creation of shared notes: A shared note is visible to all resource planners.
Allow the creation of user-specific notes: A user-specific note is only visible to the resource planner who created it.
Note: If you change the settings in this Customizing activity, all notes that were created up to this point remain unaffected by this change. For example, you allow the creation of user-specific notes. Later, you change this setting and allow the creation of shared notes. A user-specific note that was created before this change will not be visible to any user. Finally, you change this setting back to allow the creation of user-specific notes again. Shared notes that were created before this change are no longer visible to any user. Existing user-specific notes will again be visible to the users who created them.
Requirements
To be able to create notes for assignments, users require special authorization (authorization object /MRSS/NOTE).
