Use
In this Customizing activity you can determine the key data on which the capacity pot master data is based. The following scenarios are possible when using capacity pots for appointment bookings:
- A - Resource planning node
- B - Resource planning node + Resource qualification
- C - Resource
The master data of a capacity pot can be formed using this various data. When booking an appointment, the system uses this data and looks for free availabilities, depending on the selected scenario.
This enables you to determine whether the system should look for free capacity for a service appointment at resource planning node level (A), resource level (C), or at the level of the resource planning node in combination with the qualification category (B).

Once you have selected the desired scenario and carried out the Customizing settings for capacity pots in the SAP Multiresource Scheduling under Appointment Booking -> Appointment Booking at Resource Planning Node Level Customizing, you use transaction /MRSS/POT_MNT, to create and manage the capacity pots.
