Use

In this Customizing activity, you can define for each demand type according to which logic the planning status icon in the worklist is to be displayed. You specify how, that is, based on the comparison of what assignment and demand data the system shall determine the planning status for a demand.

Requirements

Standard settings

SAP does not deliver any standard settings.

Note:
If you do not make any settings in this Customizing activity, the system falls back on the following logic to determine the planning status for a demand:

  • PS demands: The system considers the threshold you define under Sources of Demand -> Define Threshold for "Partially Planned" Status (ERP)".
  • cPro demands: The system considers the threshold you define under Sources of Demand -> Collaboration Projects -> Define Threshold for "Partially Planned" Status. The system considers only hard-booked assignments (status RES_ALLCTD).
  • CRM demands: The system compares the number of assignments and the number of required resources.
  • PM/CS orders: The system compares the number of assignments and the number of required resources, as well as the assignment duration and the total work of the demand.
  • PM/CS notifications: The system compares the number of required resources and the number of assignments.

Activities

Make entries as follows:

  1. Specify the order type and the demand item category (if required).
  2. Specify what data the system is to compare in order to determine the planning status for the demand.
  3. Specify whether the system is to consider only the duration or the total work (= duration multiplied by the number of resources).

    Note that this field is only relevant if you have chosen either DURA or COUNT in the previous step.

  4. For demands originating in cPro or PS, you can make further Customizing settings in the following activities:
    • For cPro demands, you can define a threshold for the Partially Planned status under Sources of Demand -> Collaboration Projects -> Define Threshold for "Partially Planned" Status.
    • For PS demands, you can define a threshold for the Partially Planned status under Sources of Demand -> Define Threshold for "Partially Planned" Status (ERP)".
      • Note that these Customizing activities are only relevant if you have chosen a duration-based comparison option (DURA or BOTH).
      Example: If you have defined a percentage threshold of 80%, the planning status icon changes to Planned if the total assignment duration equals or is higher than the demand duration multiplied by 80%.

Depending on the demand type, you can override the settings made in this Customizing activity by implementing the following Business Add-Ins(BAdIs):

  • CRM demands: /MRSS/CSG_BADI_ENH_CHECK_DURA
  • cPro demands: /MRSS/DPR_BADI_ENH_CALCULATION
  • PM/CS demands (orders and notifications): /MRSS/NW_BADI_ENH_CHECK_DURA
