Use
In this Customizing activity you can define the periods in which it should not be possible to schedule and reschedule time allocations and assignments on the planning board. The system does not deliver any appointments in such periods when carrying out an appointment search either. So the service employee cannot allocate assignments to the resource within the blocking period.
Requirements
You have created resource groups. You will find more information underManage Resource Groups.
Standard settings
Activities
You enter the resource group and a time period in days to determine how far into the past and future the block should extend.
You also enter a start time from which the blocking period should be valid.
- Select a resource group.
Since a factory calendar is assigned to the resource group, the system can consider public holidays and other special features relating to the days on the calendar when determining the blocked period. - Select the number of days in the past and the number of days in the future into which the blocked period should extend.
You can leave the field for the days in the past empty. - Select a start time.
If the start time on a certain day on which the blocking period should be used has already been exceeded, the block can only come into effect on the following day. - You can enter one default value per resource.
The blocked period defined here is used as a default value for a resource in the /MRSS/RES_DET_MAINT transaction for managing resources. The allocation is made using the resource group. If required, you can overwrite this default value for each resource in the resource maintenance /MRSS/RES_DET_MAINT.
