Use

In this Customizing activity, you define the mode for travel times and specify whether the system displays the arrival and departure in the planning board. In each case, you can define these settings for a combination of properties (for example, assignment type, order type, and plant).

Activities

  1. For each entry, select the required properties and specify whether and how travel times are to be taken into account during resource planning. You have the following options:
    • No Travel Times Active: If you select this option, no travel times are created for assignments with the properties specified.
    • Travel Times Without Gaps for Assignment Active: If you select this option, travel times can be created for assignments with the properties specified (manually or automatically).
      • In this case, the system does not allow gaps between the assignment and the respective arrival or departure. The end of the arrival therefore corresponds to the start of the assignment, and the end of the assignment corresponds to the start of the departure.
    • Travel Times with Gaps for Assignment Active: If you select this option, travel times can be created for assignments with the properties specified (manually or automatically).
      • In this case, the system leaves gaps between the assignment and the respective arrival or departure.
  2. Specify whether the arrival and departure are to be displayed as a bar for the assignment in the planning board:
    • If you want to view the arrival as a bar in the planning board, select the Arrival checkbox.
    • If you want to view the departure as a bar in the planning board, select the Departure checkbox.
