Use

You can use this Business Add-In (BAdI) to determine the service area based on the demand or all the service areas available. In addition, you can refresh the service area buffer, if available.

Requirements

Standard settings

The BAdI provides the following methods:

  • GET_SERVICE_AREAS_BY_DEMAND:
    With this method you determine the service area for a specific demand. The method is called during appointment offering when the service agent uses the search strategy Resources by Service Area.
    Example
    Based on the demand address (or on the related technical object) you identify the geographical position and return the service area where this geographical position is located.
  • GET_ALL_SERVICE_AREAS:
    With this method you determine the complete list of service areas. The method is called when you choose the Retrieve Ext. pushbutton in the service area maintenance transaction /MRSS/SRVA_MAINTAIN.
  • REFRESH:
    This method clears the service area buffer.
  • GET_SERVICE_AREAS_FOR_F4_HELP
    With this method you have to return the complete list of service areas for the input help in the service area maintenance transaction /MRSS/SRVA_MAINTAIN.
