Use

You use this BAdI to identify the notification item for an order operation and to override the item text in the demand. The BAdI is executed during backward integration of MRS to PM/CS. For each change to an assignment, the notification item and the item text is determined:

  • Assignment Creation
    If the notification item determined does not yet exist, it is created. If the notification item already exists, the item text is updated. A task is then created in the notification item for the assignment.
  • Assignment Change
    The item text is determined and updated again. The task data for the assignment is updated.
  • Assignment Deletion
    The notification item determined is deleted provided that it does not contain any further tasks.

Standard settings

The BAdI provides the following methods:

ITEM_NUMBER_GET

With this method, the notification item can be determined.

ITEM_SHORT_TEXT_CREATE

With this method, the item text can be overridden.
