Use

In this Customizing activity you can create time intervals for which the capacity pots provide capacity. For example, you can create a day interval from 8:00 until 16:00.

You then allocate the time intervals you created to a capacity pot in transaction /MRSS/POT_MNT.

You can structure time intervals as a hierarchy by assigning multiple lower-level time intervals to a higher-level time interval.

Activities

Create entries according to your requirements. Proceed as follows:

  • Enter an ID for the time interval.
  • Assign the time interval to a higher-level time interval if necessary.
  • Enter the start time and end time of the time interval.

    The following applies:

    • If two entries are assigned to the same higher-level time interval, the individual intervals must not overlap.
    • If a higher-level time interval is assigned multiple lower-level time intervals, each of the lower-level time intervals must lie within the higher-level time interval.

Example

  • You create time interval 2 with the higher-level time interval 1 and define a duration from 8:00 until 8:59. You create time interval 3 with the same higher-level time interval 1. The earliest possible start time for time interval 3 is 9:00.
  • The higher-level time interval 1 starts at 8:00 and ends at 20:00. All lower-level time intervals must lie within this time span, for example, time interval 2 from 8:00 until 8:59 and time interval 3 from 9:00 until 9:59. You cannot create any lower-level time intervals that start or end outside the higher-level interval. This means that a lower-level time interval from 6:30 until 8:00 is not possible for time interval 1.
