Use

In this Customizing activity, you activate the automatic scheduling of multiday assignments per demand type. In addition, you can make further settings that are related to the automatic creation of assignments. For example, you can define whether the system considers daily travel and processing times when creating assignments.

Depending on the assignment type that is allowed for a particular demand type (concrete or stretched) and the settings you make in this Customizing activity, the following scenarios exist:

  • A - Creation of one stretched assignment that spans multiple days
  • B - Creation of multiple stretched assignments that include daily travel and/or processing times
  • C - Creation of multiple concrete assignments

Requirements

To enable the automatic scheduling of multiday assignments per demand type, you must activate the automatic scheduling of multiday assignments at planning board profile level in Customizing activity Define Planning Board Profile.
