Use

You can assign roles and SAP system aliases to a service. With this assignment, an OData request from an SAP NetWeaver Gateway consumer can be routed to the corresponding backend system. The system can correctly identify the SAP system that is responsible for processing (managing and storing) the data of an inbound request.

  • In the User Role column, enter the role you want to assign to the system alias. Leave this field blank to assign the system alias independent from roles.
  • In the Host Name column, enter the name of the (virtual) host you want to assign to the system alias. Leave this field blank to assign the system alias independent from the host name.
