Use
This activity allows you to:
- Generate key pairs for SSL
- Export the SSL server certificate
- Import the SSL server and STS signing certificates
In addition, this activity provides the following functions:
- Installation of the SSL CA server certificate of the connectivity provider
- Installation of the CA certificate of the connectivity provider used for client certificates signing
- Export of the Project Gateway SSL server CA certificate
You must first check the cryptographic library version that is selected.
- Click on the activity icon.
- On the Environment menu, select Display SSF Version.
- Ensure that the information shows version 1.555.28 or higher.
The installation package for the SAP Cryptographic Library is available to authorized customers on the SAP Service Marketplace at service.sap.com > SAP Software Distribution Center > Download > SAP Cryptographic Software.
The public key certificate of the STS provider is used for encryption and digital signature of the SAML messages. This public key should be imported into the corresponding PSE of the Trust Manager (SSF S2SVP) using the Customization activity Configure Consumer STS.
