Use

The Cleanup scenario is a logical object of related cache/persistency framework. Every cleanup scenario requires the respective implementation to read data from the database and to delete by the associated delete implementation.

The framework provides the abstract class /IWFND/CL_SM_CLEANUP for all supported cleanup operations. If an agent in SAP NetWeaver Gateway solutions make use of the framework, it creates a new cleanup scenario by creating a subclass of /IWFND/CL_SM_CLEANUP providing implementation for supported methods. These are called by the framework on SAP administration requests.

In addition, a configuration for registered cleanup scenarios is required for using the view /IWFND/V_SM_CNRL (Control Table for Cleanup Scenarios).
