This activity allows you to create an endpoint for the Web services that the consumer can use to access the SAML token profiles. This configuration defines the link between the consumer and SAP NetWeaver Gateway.

Activities
To create the endpoint for the Web service:
- Click on the activity icon. The SOA Management page opens.
- Select the Service Administration tab and choose Single Service Configuration.
- Search for the relevant Web service for which you want to create an endpoint.
- In the search results, select the Web service and choose Apply Selections.
- In the details section of the service, go to the Configurations tab and choose Create Endpoint.
- In the SOA Management dialog, enter the name of the new service and its description. In the New Binding Name field, enter the name of the endpoint.
- Chooes Apply Settings.
- Scroll down the page to configure the security settings for the endpoint. The Provider Security tab is selected by default.
- In the Communication Security section, select SSL (HTTPS, Transport Channel Security). The option you select here will depend on your system landscape.
- In the Message Authentication section, select Single Sign On using SAML.
- In the Token Issuer field, specify the STS identifier.
- Choose Save to save your entries.
The endpoint for the Web service is now created. You will now need the WSDL URL of the endpoint to configure the consumer system. To determine the URL:
- In the Web Service Administration page, go to the Details of Service Definition section and open the Overview tab.
- Click on the Display WSDL URL for Selected Binding link.
- Use default WSDL Style Document and SOAP version SOAP 1.2 (if your consumer supports this).
- Select https as metadata protocol.
- Choose Display selected Binding's or Service's WSDL URL to retrieve the WSDL URL.
