Use

This activity allows you to synchronize user roles from SAP and expose them to be consumed by the consumer. This activity runs the report /IWFND/R_RS_HANDLER.

Requirements

In the Specify Roles for Consumers activity, you must first specify the roles that must be synchronized.

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Click on the activity icon.
  2. Click Execute to synchronize the roles. You can enter information in the following optional fields before you click Execute.
    • Consumer Type: Press F4 and select a consumer if you would like to synchronize roles for a specific consumer. If you leave this field blank, roles for all consumers will be synchronized.
    • Role Name: Press F4 and select a role if you would like to synchronize all users to a single role. If you leave this field blank, all roles will be synchronized.

Note: You can go to transaction sm37 to schedule this report and run it periodically as a job.
