Use
SAP NetWeaver Gateway uses outbound queues to reliably send information to a consumer. (Such queues are used by various services; for instance, the Content Publisher). These outbound queues use bgRFC (Background Remote Function Call) technology.
The bgRFC can function only if a supervisor destination has been defined. This activity allows you to create a supervisor destination.

Standard settings
Activities
- Click on the activity icon to open the bgRFC Configuration.
- Go to the Define Supervisor Dest. tab. If there is no Supervisor Destination maintained already, choose Create and proceed with the steps below.
- Enter the RFC destination name as BGRFC_SUPERVISOR and enter the Username and Password. The user should be a special user that is created specifically for the bgRFC supervisor destination. The user must have authorizations in the SAP_BC_BGRFC_SUPERVISOR role
- Choose Save in the Create RFC Destination for Supervisor popup and then save the bgRFC configuration.
