Use

SAP NetWeaver Gateway uses outbound queues to reliably send information to a consumer. (Such queues are used by various services; for instance, the Content Publisher). These outbound queues use bgRFC (Background Remote Function Call) technology.

To use the bgRFC, two configuration steps are needed.

  1. Create the RFC connection IWFND_BGRFC_DEST for the outbound queues.
  2. Register the RFC connection IWFND_BGRFC_DEST for the outbound queues

This activity allows you to perform the second step: registering the RFC connection.

Requirements

You have created the RFC destination IWFND_BGRFC_DEST.
