Use

The WSIL (Web Services Inspection Language) service is used to retrieve the available service endpoints of the local SOAP Runtime Registry.

To use the Service WSIL Description of SOAP Runtime Registry the RFC Connection IWFND_WSIL_LOCAL_DEST is required.

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Click on the activity icon. The Configuration of RFC Connections screen is displayed
  2. Choose Create to create a new HTTP Connection to ABAP System
  3. In the RFC Destination field, enter IWFND_WSIL_LOCAL_DEST
  4. In the Connection Type field, enter H (HTTP Connection to ABAP System)
  5. Go to the Technical Settings of the RFC Connection
  6. Enter the Target Host, Service No. and Path Prefix of the local WSIL Service. To retrieve the details test the WSIL Service via Internet Communication Framework (ICF) with Service Name WSIL. The URL of the WSIL service contains the required details for the RFC Connection
  7. Save the RFC destination, and choose Connection Test to test the connection
