Use

You must map user names in the SAP system to their equivalent names in the consumer level. This activity allows you to map several users in a single process (bulk user mapping).

Requirements

You can map users in the SAP system to their corresponding names in the groupware environment in two ways:

After you have configured the CSV file or LDAP server, you must specify which user mapping method you will use. This is specified in Customizing activity Select User Mapping Type.

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Click on the activity icon. This will open the report RSUSREXT.
  2. In the External ID type field, press F4 and select 'SA'.
  3. For the variable part, select the last radio button, press F4 and select 'Generic bulk user mapping'.
  4. Ensure that the Test Mode checkbox is deselected.
  5. Click Execute.

User names are mapped between the SAP system and the consumer. The mapped entries should exist in the table USREXTID under type SA.
