Use
This IMG activity is only relevant for the valuation methods with the Fair Value indicator, in other words only value adjustment postings that are created in accordance with IAS/US GAAP.
In this activity you define both the analysis time frame (number of periods to be analyzed) and the actual periods (such as month, quarter or year). The data required for the calculation of the fair value (net present value) is generated and entered based on this analysis time frame.
Requirements
In the IMG activity Define Valuation Methods you need to have entered the valuation method 02 valuation methods according to IAS / US-GAAP.

Example
You want to define an analysis time frame of 12 months for the valuation method according to US GAAP for the RBD area 0001. This means that the fair value (net present value) will be calculated every month.
