Use
You can use this Customizing activity during evaluation of the source system contract to derive the Probability of Risk Provision Usage for the risk provision position Reserve.
This Customizing activity is relevant for the evaluation method with the "fair value" analysis horizon.

Example
The following example explains the system settings. After each example, you can see which row of the Customizing settings refers to each requirement:
- All contingent liabilities in the system for the evaluation must contain a default value of at least 50% for the usage probability. During subsequent evaluation, if no special entry was defined in Customizing, the system copies the usage probability for the last actual evaluation (see row 1).
- If no special entry was defined in Customizing, the usage probability for source system contracts of product type "30A" and contract type "300" contains the default entry 60%. During subsequent evaluation, the system copies the usage probability for the last actual evaluation (see row 2).
- The usage probability for source system contracts of product type "30A" and contract type "300", value adjustment indicator "1", and contract currency "JPY" contains the default entry 100%. During subsequent evaluation, the system reads the default value from Customizing. This means that the system does not copy the value of the last actual evaluation (see row 3).

Further notes
In this Customizing activity, you can use wildcard characters. Wildcard is the name given to a placeholder in the form of an asterisk and allows you to make generalized settings for specific table columns. This minimizes the number of entries that need to be made and provides a better overview. In this table, you can use wildcards for the following fields:
