Use
You can use this Customizing activity to define language-dependent descriptions for Collateral Types for IAS Processing.
Collateral types are used for risk provision using the evaluation method with the 'fair value' analysis horizon and are displayed in the RBD account dialog.
The long texts of the collateral types do not affect formation of the risk provision and are for information purposes only.

Activities
Define long texts for the collateral types that are used or supplied during risk provision formation.
Example
In the supplying collateral management system (for example, SAP Collateral Management System), the system maps the following collateral types and supplies them during risk provision determination according to IAS/IFRS:
- Certified land charge (technical key = 010100),
- Uncertifiied land charge (technical key = 010200),
- Certified mortgage (technical key= 010300) and
- Registered mortgage (technical key = 010400)
These must be displayed in the RBD account dialog with the corresponding long text (on the Collaterals tab page of the evaluation sheet). Make the following settings:
