Use
In this Customizing activity, you define the derivation of risk provision positions.
A transaction can be a receivable, a contingent liability, or a combination of receivable and contingent liability. Accordingly, the risk provision must be created in the form of a value adjustment and/or provision.
Based on the criteria RBD area, valuation method, and source system ID and the product type, you define for each GAAP whether the transaction is to be interpreted as a receivable and/or contingent liability. If the transaction is to be interpreted also or exclusively as a contingent liability, you also need to specify the risk provision position with which the risk provision for the contingent liability is to be created. It is possible, for example, to perform a product-type-specific assignment of different provision types (provision, other provision, process cost provision, and so on).
