Use

In this IMG activity, you can assign an RBD number range to each object (account, planned record, actual record, individual document, evaluation sheet), or,for each aggregation level (contract, finance project, and partner) of RBD accounts.

Requirements

The number range objects and intervals must be defined. (See Basic Settings for RBD)

Standard settings

Activities

In this Customizing activity you assign the number ranges to be used for the individual functions and dialog entries of the RBD component.

  • Account dialog (report name /IBS/SAPLRB_OB_KTO)

For this report, you must store the number range object and intervals for distribution of RBD account numbers. The number range object /IBS/KTO is used as standard. You use the Sub ID to decide for which account type and aggregation level a corresponding RBD account is to be created.

    • Sub ID ' ' (blank) - RBD accounts without aggregation level, RBD accounts of account type FVA
    • Sub ID '01' - IVA accounts with aggregation level contract
    • Sub ID '02' - IVA accounts with aggregation level finance project
    • Sub ID '03' - IVA accounts with aggregation level partner

Alternatively, you can use the number range object /IBS/KTO02 for number range object /IBS/KTO. This number range object allows you to define number range intervals for each RBD area.

  • Evaluation sheet (report name /IBS/SAPLRB_OB_SHEET)

Program for managing risk provision for the 'value adjustment' and 'reserve' provisions per IAS/IFRS. For this report, you must define the number range object and interval for number range assignment for the evaluation sheet. The number range object /IBS/RBSH is used as standard.

  • Creation of turnover individual documents (report name /IBS/SAPLRB_OB_UE)

Program for creation of turnover individual documents. For this report, you must store number range objects and ranges for the distribution of numbers to the RBD turnover individual documents. The number range objects /IBS/RBUE and/or /IBS/RBUEM are used as standard. You can use the sub ID to define the value adjustment procedure for which turnover individual documents can be created.

    • Sub ID '01' - turnover individual documents for value adjustment procedure IVA
    • Sub ID '03' - turnover individual documents for value adjustment procedure FVA
  • Creation of RBD actual records (report name /IBS/SAPLRB_OB_UI)

For this report, you must store the number range object and intervals for distribution of RBD actual record numbers. The number range object /IBS/RBUI is used as standard.

  • Creation of RBD planned records (report name /IBS/SAPLRB_OB_UP)

For this report, you must store the number range object and intervals for distribution of RBD planned record numbers. The number range object /IBS/RBUP is used as standard.

Example

  • When creating an account, the RBD account number is to be generated by the number range object /IBS/KTO. For IVA accounts of aggregation level contract, the number range interval 01 is to be used; for finance project level the number range interval 02 is to be used; and for partner level, the number range interval 03 is to be used. For RBD accounts without an aggregation level (RBD accounts for the flat-rate value adjustment procedure (FVA)), the number range interval 04 is to be used. Validity is unlimited (= year 9999).
  • The evaluation sheet number is to be derived using the number range object /IBS/RBSH with interval number 01. Validity of the setting is unlimited (= year 9999).
  • The system is to generate the number of the turnover individual documents for IVA accounts using the number range object /IBS/RBUE and the interval 01. For FVA accounts, the system is to use the number range object /IBS/RBUEM and the interval 03. Validity is unlimited (= year 9999).
  • For RBD actual records, the system is to use the number range object /IBS/RBUI and the interval 01. Validity is unlimited (= year 9999).
  • For RBD planned records, the system is to use the number range object /IBS/RBUP and the interval 01. Validity is unlimited (= year 9999).
