Use
In this IMG activity, you define the regions of a country that are not relevant as recipients or dispatchers of goods deliveries for the Intrastat statistics, although they are politically part of a country in the European Union. Intrastat declarations must not contain deliveries of goods to or from these regions. To ensure that the system only includes worklist entries that are relevant for the Intrastat statistics, you have to define the regions of a country that you want the system to exclude.
Requirements
Standard settings
The standard system already contains the exclusion regions for those countries whose regions are not relevant for Intrastat declarations.
Activities
Example
Politically, the overseas departments of France belong to France and are managed as a region of France. However, goods traffic between the overseas departments and a country of declaration such as Spain are not relevant for the Intrastat declaration. A similar situation exists for the Canary Islands and a country of declaration such as France.
