Use

In this IMG activity, you define reasons for reversing documents in order to define how and when documents are reversed. For example, you can define that the reversal is to be posted on a different date to the posting date of the document.

Activities

To create a new reason for reversal, proceed as follows:

  1. Choose New Entries
  2. In the Reason for Reversal field, enter a short text for your reason for reversal.
  3. In the Long Text field, enter a long text in order to describe your reason for reversal.
  4. You have the option of defining that an alternative posting data is allowed for reversal when you reverse a document. To do so, set the Alternative Posting Date flag.
  5. Save your reason for reversal.
