Use

In this IMG activity, you define the screen layout for G/L account posting. You define the following points:

  • For the document header
    • The number of tab pages, their names and the order in which they appear
    • The fields on the tab pages and the field layout
  • For the document items, the fields and their layout

Note

The interface layout that you define is valid for all functions for posting G/L account documnets and for creating sample documents.

Requirements

Standard settings

In the standard system, SAP delivers an interface layout for every data basis that you can change. You make your changes at the data basis level, meaning that you can define a separate interface layout for each data

Activities

  1. Enter the Data Basis for which you want to define the interface layout.

    You are in the Change Tab Pages in the Header: Overview screen.

  2. You can make the following settings for the tab pages in the document header:
    • In the Tab Page field, you can change the numerical sequence of tab pages
    • You can change the name of the tab pages and the number of columns
    • You can create new tab pages. To do this, choose New Entries.
      • Enter the data for your tab pages and choose Back.
  3. In the overview screen, select the required tab page and, in the navigation tree, choose Fields in the Header by double-clicking on it.

    You are in the Change Fields in the Header: Overview screen.

  4. You can make the following settings for the fields in the document header:
    • In the row and column fields, you can change the position of the fields on the tab page
    • You can add new fields to the tab page. To do this, choose New Entries.
      • Enter the data for your fields and choose Back.
  5. In the overview screen, select the required tab page and, in the navigation tree, choose Column Width by double-clicking on it.
  6. For each column on the tab page, you can change the width of the columns and the length of the fields.

    Choose Back.

  7. In the navigation tree, choose Fixed Position Fields by double-clicking on it.

    You are in the Change Position Fields: Overview screen.

  8. You can make the following settings for the document items:
    • In the Column field, you can change the numerical sequence of the fields
    • You can add new fields for the document items. To do this, choose New Entries.
      • Enter the data for your fields and choose Back.
  9. Save your settings.
