Use
In this IMG activity you maintain the data profile that controls the list of fields that SAP Auto-ID Infrastructure (SAP AII) sends out during printing or tag commissioning. You use predefined element sets to control which fields are allowed for printing and tag commissioning. By assigning a certain element set to the print profile you indicate that the fields within the element set may be used for printing and tag commissioning. Depending on your business requirements, you can create many print profiles. Each profile may have one element set assigned to it.
Requirements
You must define element sets (underBasic Settings -> Data Profile Settings -> Maintain Element Sets and Attributes) before you can define data profiles.
Standard settings
We deliver the profile SAP_PRINT_PROFILE which has the element set SAP_PRINT_FIELD_LIST assigned to it. You may add new print profiles or change the element set that is assigned to the delivered profile.
Activities
Define Profile
- Choose New Entries.
- Enter a Profile Name and Profile Description. New profile names must be in the customer namespace (that is, they cannot start with "S").
- Save the entry.
Assign Element Set
- Choose New Entries.
- Select the Element Set Usage 01 Write/Print EPC.
- Select the Element Set Name from the F4 list.
- Save the entry.
