Use
You use this IMG activity only if you want to define your own conditions for rules to be carried out when SAP Auto-ID Infrastructure (SAP AII) processes fixed device messages. Rules contain the logic to update SAP AII and connected systems when SAP AII receives messages.
Rule Determination for Fixed Device Messages
The SAP AII rule processor runs the fixed device message through the determination conditions and finds the appropriate rule based on the location ID, the location type, and the action type that is assigned to the device group role.
Requirements
Rules must be defined in Rule customizing.
Standard settings
Activities
- Enter a Location ID, Location Type and Command that build your condition.
Entering * for Location ID or Location Type means that condition is true for all location IDs or location types.
- Specify the Processing Sequence for your rule.
- Choose a rule that should be carried out if the rule processor evaluates the condition as true.
- If you want to stop rule processing after this rule is carried out, select the Exit indicator.
- Enter a Description for your condition.
