Use

In the IMG activity Create RFC Connections you define the technical parameters for the TCP/IP connections that SAP Auto-ID Infrastructure (SAP AII) uses for communicating with other systems. A TCP/IP connection is a kind of RFC destination.

You should specify at least two HTTP destinations: one for communication with SAP NetWeaver Exchange Infrastructure (SAP NetWeaver XI) and one or more for communication with device controllers.

Activities

  1. Choose Basic Settings -> Integration Settings -> Mobile Device Integration → Create RFC Connections.
  2. In the RFC Destinations tree, open the branch HTTP Connections to R/3 System.
  3. Select Create and do the following:
    • Enter a destination name and description.
    • Select connection type H - HTTP Connection to R/3 System.
    • Specify the following technical settings: target host, service number, and path prefix.
    • If needed, complete details for the Logon/Security tab.
    • If needed, change the default timeout, HTTP protocol version.
