Use

In this IMG activity, you assign application-specific functions and business systems to logical ports, so that SAP Auto-ID Infrastructure (SAP AII) can communicate with other systems without the need for an XI system. A logical port contains technical service call-specific data for a Web Service client proxy.

Requirements

You have defined functions specific to SAP AII under Define Application-Specific Functions for Logical Port Mapping.

  • You have defined logical ports in the transaction LPCONFIG.

Standard settings

Activities

Enter a business system, an application-specific function, and the technical name of the logical port.

The business system is the target system of the call. Some functions need a logical port to all business systems. If you do not enter a business system, the mapping of function to logical port is valid for all available business systems.
