Diagnosis

In C/I Customizing under Equity Method Posting, you have not specified the statistical item for scope of reported data .

The item for the statistical scope of reported data is needed in the equity method so that subsequent divestitures or transfers are able to correctly reduce or transfer the investment adjustment.

If multiple scopes of reported data are defined, then you need to assign a different statistical item to each scope - that is, the assignment must be reversible.
