Diagnosis
The ownership percentage of the consolidation unit is already equal to zero at the beginning of activity / activity number of investee unit in consolidation group . Consequently, it is not possible to execute the change in ownership percentage.
System Response
Procedure
An unsuitable sequence of activities often causes the ownership percentage to be reduced to zero over time. For this reason, check the sequence of activities for investee unit and consolidation unit . In the case of indirect activities, your analysis of the sequence of activities should include the investee unit of the activity that triggers the indirect activity. Where necessary, change the sequence of activities.
You can define a suitable log format in the consolidation of investments task to ensure that the activities in each group are displayed in the order in which they are processed. In such a log format you should define the characteristics in the following sequence:
- Consolidation group (breakdown: default)
- Group currency key (breakdown: default)
- Sequence number (breakdown: yes)
- Activity (breakdown: no)
- Activity number (breakdown: default)
- Investee unit (breakdown: no)
- Further characteristics (breakdown: default)
