Quantity field does not exist; posting of group shares is not possible

Diagnosis
The Posting of Group Shares function uses statistical items, which you specify in the Customizing settings for selected items for consolidation of investments. These items require a breakdown by quantity because the system posts the percentages of ownership of direct shares and group shares to the quantity field.
However, in the data model used, the fields for quantity and unit of measure are not available.
System Response
The Posting of Group Shares function cannot be executed.
Procedure
Instead of using the Posting of Group Shares function, use the list of group shares. To do this, choose Analysis -> List Data -> Group Shares in the consolidation workbench (transaction UCWB).
