Diagnosis

In consolidation area, you specified that the appropriation of retained earnings should be represented in the balance sheet. Consequently, the item Clearing Item for Consolidation Unit that you specify in the Clearing Itemstab page for the document type has to have item type Balance Sheet for all document types of Consolidation of Investments.

Furthermore, independently of the appropriation of retained earnings that is set in the consolidation area, the item Clearing - Balance Sheet must always have item type Balance Sheet.

However, you specified item in document type , and this item does not have item type Balance Sheet.

Either change the item type of item in document type or do not use this item.
