Diagnosis
The settings for goodwill in method are inconsistent with regards to the treatment of (negative) goodwill. This can have the following causes:
- Ordinary amortization of (negative) goodwill was activated, but the start date and/or the life of amortization is missing.
- Periodic reduction of (negative) goodwill was activiated, but the start date and/or the life of the reduction is missing.

Go to Customizing for consolidation of investments method and specify the start date and the life of the amortization or reduction.
