There is no approved FMLA request with sufficient remainder

Diagnosis

You were unable to assign the absence to the FMLA request.

System Response

There are two possible reasons for this:

• The employee does not have enough remaining entitlement to absences covered by FMLA.
• The FMLA request has the status Rejected.

Procedure

Insufficient entitlement:

Check the employee's remaining entitlement in the applicable rules. If required, reduce the absence's validity period so that the remaining entitlement is completely deducted.

The FMLA request has the status Rejected:

If required, change the status of the request to Approved.
