Diagnosis

You have attempted to enter a preregistration type for the organizational unit "". However, this organizational unit is not suitable.

System Response

Before an organizational unit can make a preregistration type available, the organizational unit must satisfy the following requirements (regardless of the scenario involved):

• Preregistration types used solely for preregistering patients for admission must be made available by a departmental organizational unit (in other words, by an organizational unit where the Departmental Assignment indicator has been set).
• Preregistration types used for preregistering patients for surgery/treatment must be made available by a service facility. This service facility must be an organizational unit where the Requestable indicator has been activated. Preregistration types like these can be used not only for surgery/treatment preregistrations, but also for preregistering patients for inpatient appointments in the departmental organizational unit to which the service facility in question is assigned (in the organizational structure).

Procedure

Select an organizational unit that satisfies these requirements, or activate the Departmental Assignment or Requestable indicators for the organizational unit.
