Diagnosis

The payment period for a sick pay supplement ends during the period in which the current pay scale group and pay scale level apply. In accordance with sec. 17 para. 3 of the collective agreement for the public sector, only periods of incapacity to work of up to 39 weeks are equated with continuous employment.

System Response

The pay scale level period is not extended automatically.

Procedure

Check whether the absence is a suspension for which the pay scale level period is extended.

You can extend the pay scale level period manually using the Next Increase field in the Basic Pay infotype (0008).
