Diagnosis
During the period in which the current pay scale group and pay scale level apply, there is a period for which the status Employment in the Actions infotype does not have the value 3 (active).
This indicates that the employee was previously employed in the same pay scale group and level prior to the current employment relationship.
System Response
The previous employment period is not included when the pay scale level period is determined. The pay scale leave period for the automatic pay scale level increase starts when the last employment relationship begins in the evaluation period.
Procedure
If the previous employment period is to be included in the same pay scale level and an earlier pay scale level increase is to take place as a result, enter the date of the pay scale level increase in the Next Increase field in the Basic Pay infotype (0008).
