Diagnosis
During payroll processing, the Company Car (Belgium) (B0442) payroll function calculates the tax advantage amounts for employees with company cars. In this case, the Registration date field in the employee's Company Car (0442) infotype record does not contain a value. Consequently, the function is unable to determine the age of the company car and therefore cannot determine the applicable tax advantage amount.
System Response
The system cannot determine the tax advantage amount for this employee's company car. Payroll processing for this record is stopped.
Procedure
For the current record used, specify the Registration date field (Car information tab) of the Company Car (0442) infotype record.
Note: The period between the initial registration date of the car and the actual month of the benefit is used to determine a car's age. The age of a company car is used in tax advantage calculations, and is mandatory for Belcotax reporting from January 2012.
