Diagnosis

The number or the description of the postal code that you have entered is not valid or does not exist.

Procedure

To make sure that you select a valid postal code, proceed as follows:

  1. Check if the number of digits of the selected postal code is correct.

  • If you are using the harmonized (4-digit) postal code solution, enter a 4-digit postal code.
  • If you are using the 5-digit postal code solution, enter a 5-digit postal code.

  1. Check if the selected postal code number exists or if its description is correct. To do so, go to the input help (F4 help).

If you cannot solve the problem, contact your system administrator.

Procedure for System Administration

Check whether the selected postal code is maintained in the corresponding table under Postal Codes (Belgium).
