Diagnosis

The payment model in the medical aid scheme is inconsistent with the employee's payroll area as indicated in Organizational Assignment (Infotype 0001).

Note

The payment model indicates how medical aid contributions (based on a monthly rate) must be split for non-monthly employees.

What To Do

  • Choose a medical aid scheme that corresponds to the employee's payment cycle.
  • If you want to create a new scheme, see the instructions below.

Procedure for System Administrator

  1. Choose 'Maintain entries'.
  2. Enter your project IMG number or choose 'Without Project'.
  3. In 'Maintain Medical Aid Insurances', select the company for which you want to create a new scheme.
  4. Select an existing 'Scheme' and choose 'Copy'.
  5. Enter the relevant information, including the payment model.
  6. Save your entry.

Additional Information

To access the payment model and the payroll accounting area tables:

  1. Repeat step #1 from above.
  2. Select 'Define payment models' and 'Assign payroll accounting areas to period modifiers' respectively.
